Herbal tea recipe to relieve symptoms of Hemorrhoids:
- 5 parts Holy Thistle
- 5 parts Dandelion root
- 5 parts Alder Buckthorn bark
- 5 parts Centaury
- 5 parts Common mallow leaf
- 4 parts Rhubarb root
- 5 parts Toadflax
- 5 parts Yarrow
- 5 parts Fumitory
Drink one cup daily till your symptoms persist, but no longer than one month.
This medicinal tea blend to be used externally by sitz bath:
Take a sitz bath (sitting bath).
- 5 parts Chamomile
- 5 parts Common oak bark
- 5 parts Willow bark
- 5 parts Toadflax
- 5 parts Walnut leaf
- 5 parts Common mallow leaf
- 5 parts Sage
- 5 parts Silverweed
- 5 parts Horse chestnut leaf
- 5 parts Common horsetail
How to make a sitz bath:
Fill the bathtub with enough luke-warm water to cover your backside (2-3 inches). Pour in a cupful of the tea that you’ve made out of this recipe and sit in two-three times a day for 10 to 15 minutes.
