Herbal Tea for Kidney Stones

Here is a recipe that helps relieve symptoms of the kidney stones:

  • 1 part Elder root
  • 1 part Stinging nettle leaf
  • 1 part Silver thistle root
  • 1 part Calamus root
  • 1 part Peppermint
  • 2 parts Common horsetail
  • 3 parts Elderflower
  • 3 parts Silver linden
  • 3 parts Juniper berry
  • 4 parts Rosehip

Use one tablespoon of the blend of herbs for a cupful of tea. Use a saucepan. Pour cold water over the herbs. Bring it to the boil. Boil for thirty seconds. Take the pan off the stovetop. Let it stand for 15-20 minutes, then filter.

Drink one or two cups daily for one month. However, don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Also, ask your doctor’s opinion about the long term use of this tea blend.

Use a digital kitchen scale to measure each type of herbs.

To mix the measured herbs, use a plastic or glass bowl. If possible, don’t use a metal spoon and bowl for mixing.
