Herbal Tea for Kidney Stones

If ever had kidney stones, you will do anything to avoid to go through that awful pain again. Also, you want to avoid surgery, so instead, make use of this recipe.

Here is a recipe that helps relieve symptoms of the kidney stones:

  • 1 part Elder root
  • 1 part Stinging nettle leaf
  • 1 part Silver thistle root
  • 1 part Calamus root
  • 1 part Peppermint
  • 2 parts Common horsetail
  • 3 parts Elderflower
  • 3 parts Silver linden
  • 3 parts Juniper berry
  • 4 parts Rosehip

Use one tablespoon of the blend of herbs for a cupful of tea. Use a saucepan. Pour cold water over the herbs. Bring it to the boil. Boil for thirty seconds. Take the pan off the stovetop. Let it stand for 15-20 minutes, then filter.

Drink one or two cups daily for one month. However, don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Also, ask your doctor’s opinion about the long term use of this tea blend.

The numbers in the recipes represent the weight ratios or units; e.g., grams(g), ounces(oz), etc.

Use a digital kitchen scale to measure each type of herbs.

To mix the measured herbs, use a plastic or glass bowl. If possible, don’t use a metal spoon and bowl for mixing.

Keep your herbal compound in an airtight container.
