Fruits You Should Eat Daily

Fresh Fruits are the goldmines of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Everybody should consume fruits every day for good health and prevent diseases occurring from bad eating habits. Fruits account for the most substantial part of water intake for humans and animals. It’s easier for the body to process and absorb the vitamins and minerals from fresh fruits than from pills.

The most important fruits

Apple

Apples are rich in dietary fiber, pectin, vitamins A, C, E, and folate. Apples eaten daily may reduce the risk of colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer. They also help with weight loss and controlling cholesterol.

Bananas

Good source of fiber, potassium, vitamins A, C, B6, E, and folate. Some green, cooking bananas are suitable for cooking.

Cherries

Red or black when ripened. Cherries have to be ripe to eat. Otherwise, they cause diarrhea. Cherries contain anthocyanins that reduce pain & inflammation.

Figs

You can eat it either dried or fresh, particularly in the Mediterranean diet, figs contain vitamin A, C, folate, and niacin.

Kiwi

A rich source of vitamins A, C, E, B – complex, calcium, iron, and folic acid, and is a good source of flavonoid antioxidants.

Lemon and Lime

Lime and lemon are the most cultivated citrus fruits loaded with vitamins A, C, and folate. Juice of citrus is good for detoxification and has antioxidant properties.

Peach

Juicy fruit with a yellowish red skin & flesh having a taste of acidic tang and sweetness. Always to be picked and eaten ripe.

Orange

Oranges have sweet to sour flavor. But you’ve already known that. People eat them fresh or squeezed to make juice. Contain vitamin C, flavonoids, provides fiber and pectin and rich in sodium when ripened in the sunshine.

Plum

It is high in carbohydrates. An excellent source of vitamin A, C, calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, and particularly high in fiber.

Papaya

A yellow-orange flesh with small black seeds. Rich in vitamins A, B, C, and D; calcium, phosphorous, and iron. It is high in digestive enzymes and has a strengthening effect on the stomach.

Pear

A sweet juicy yellow or green fruit. Pears are best eaten at room temperature. Pears contain potassium and riboflavin. It is good for the skin and provides plenty of fibers.

Strawberry

It is one of the richest sources of Vitamin C, and fiber and strawberries have a high content of sodium and iron. Strawberries are excellent to relieve rheumatism.

Watermelon

A type of melon with the juicy sweet red flesh. Extraordinarily refreshing when eaten ripe and fresh or to drink as juice. Valuable for minerals, vitamins, and with a useful amount of fiber and iron.
