A Cat is the Best Decision of Your Life

What is the difference between a house and a home? The cat. A house becomes home when there is a cat in the family.

One of my favorite song from Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young – Our House

Our house is a very, very, very fine house with two cats in the yard
Life used to be so hard
Now everything is easy ’cause of you

So, why a cat is the best thing in your life?

  • Your cat loves you and won’t betray you as humans do
  • Cats provide company and entertainment
  • They relieve depression, anxiety, and many types of mood disorders

Cat purring is one of the most relaxing sounds in the world. It is so much that it is supposed to help you overcome stress.
They are fantastic cute when hide, rubbing virtually anything and everyone kind to them.
Independent individuals, and although they fond of their owners, do not require constant attention. They can very much stick to their owners, which is a very heart-warming feeling. So they become a family member in no time.

They love to play, energetic and bright, so it’s fun to fool with them.
They fit into a small place, and they feel great in smaller apartments.
If you leave enough food and water, you can leave her alone all day; they don’t mind. Of course; they will be happy when you get home in the evening and play.
Kittens and cats are curious creatures; they love to explore the world, creating many fun situations, and having fun.

If you have a cat, you will have endless laughter and joy.
Cats help to relieve stress, and you will not be lonely next to a cat. Cats are house-trained, so you don’t have to worry about accidents.

Living with a cat

It is worth teaching your kitten what she is allowed to do and what is not. Of course, this is not as easy as cats are quite self-rule. If the cutie does something that we want her to quit doing as soon as possible, a definite “No” is enough to let her know our will. We can emphasize our displeasure with a little water squirting. Shouting loud is not leading anywhere, but we can also be sure that we are only scaring poor kitten. The best decision is to reward her for doing something right. With a positive affirmation method, we can tell her without saying what is right and not scaring our little favorite furry friend.

Keeping cats indoors

Cats are playful, and if they are alone, they need toys to keep themselves entertained. A bored cat can overeat and become overweight.

You should buy toys that your fluffy can throw, jump, climb, hide, or run to use. In my experience, most cats are reasonably well along with toys.

Cats in apartment buildings can move less than their counterparts living in houses. Nonetheless, I do not think that it is so tragic, because, with a little ingenuity, your pet can have the exercise to they need. If the kitten is living indoor, it is advisable to let her go everywhere around the place. It’s no secret that cats are eager to climb on trees. If, however, they cannot go out into nature, they will sooner or later seek out other high places. This is the reason why the top of the cabinets will be the headquarters if the kitten is living indoors.

Cats sometimes sharpen their nails thoroughly, often on the carpet, sofa, or bed. It is worth investing in a scratcher. Of course, it is not at all sure that our furball will use it, but it is worth a try.

Pay attention to the weight of the kitten, because the combination of a more sedentary lifestyle and an unlimited amount of snack can easily cause obesity. Buy a food specifically designed for indoor cats!

We should not forget about the water supply, because the cat cannot get the water it needs from nature. Fill up the water tray at least once a day with fresh water.
